As you can see from our iPhone 12 review, it comes with a lot of improvements over the iPhone 11. Initially, the iPhone 12 came in four different variants, depending on the 5G connectivity compared to the 3 for the iPhone 11. Price.

The base model of the 2019 iPhone 11 was $699, which was $50 cheaper than the 2018 iPhone XR. With the release of the iPhone 12, the price of the iPhone 11 has decreased to $599.

The iPhone 12 Mini will set you back $699, the iPhone 12 will set you back $799, the iPhone 12 Pro will set you back $999, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max will set you back $1,099.

Design 

The iPhone 12 Mini (5.4-inch), iPhone 12 and 12 Pro (6.1-inch), and iPhone 12 Pro Max are the four iPhone 12 variants (6.7-inch). In comparison, the iPhone 11 (6.1-inch), iPhone 11 Pro (5.8-inch), and iPhone 11 Pro Max are the only three iPhone 11 models available (6.5-inch). There are essentially the same sizes. The iPhone 12 does, however, weigh around one ounce less.

When it comes to the design of each phone, though, there are some significant changes. Both are water-resistant to IP68 standards, lack a headphone jack, and support wireless charging.

Deep blue, minty green, red, white, and black are the five colors available with the iPhone 12. Black, white, purple, green, yellow, and Product Red are the six colors available on the iPhone 11.

Display.

The iPhone 12 does, however, include an OLED display (as opposed to the LCD on the iPhone 11), a magnetic backing that interacts with new MagSafe chargers and accessories, and a more robust screen reinforced with ceramic.

Like the iPhone 11 Pro, all four iPhone 12 models will have Super Retina XDR OLED displays, whereas the iPhone 11 had an LCD screen.

It’s worth mentioning that the average brightness of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 small displays is 625 nits, compared to 800 nits for the iPhone 12 Pro phones. As a result, the Pros will have a brighter image.

Camera

The iPhone 12 features improved camera capabilities over the iPhone 11 especially the  Pro models, as is common with new iPhones.It comes with a camera design that includes conventional, ultrawide, and selfie cameras.

 They do, however, include Night Setting images, which are now compatible with the ultrawide and selfie cameras, as well as an upgraded HDR mode for tough scenes with bright and dark elements.

Meanwhile, the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max feature considerable photography upgrades, including a bigger image sensor and a fourth telephoto camera for shooting things that are further away.

The iPhone 12 Pro features the same 2x zoom telephoto reach as previous iPhones, giving it a 52mm comparable focal length, but the Pro Max’s zoom increases to 2.5x, giving it a 65mm equivalent focal length.

Performances and Spaces

In comparison to competing for Android phones, Apple’s new A14 Bionic chipset claims up to 50% greater CPU and GPU performance. In the Adobe Premiere Rush app, we timed how long it took to transcode a 4K video to 1080p, and the iPhone 12 finished in just 26 seconds. It took 45 seconds for the iPhone 11 Pro to charge.

In terms of graphics performance, we didn’t see much of a difference. The iPhone 12 scored 39 frames per second in the 3DMark Wild Life test, while the iPhone 11 Pro Max earned 42 fps. When we switched to the off-screen version of the test, the iPhone 12 Pro scored 51 frames per second, compared to 42 frames per second for the iPhone 11 Pro.
