The OnePlus Nord N200 is a smartphone currently release in the US and Canada. With flagship-level phones at budget-friendly rates, Oneplus is creating a name for itself. However, in recent years, the company’s newer Nord line has been the focus on cost.

However, unlike Google’s budget phone, the Nord N200’s fingerprint sensor is incorporate in the power button on the right edge. I’d grown accustomed to placing my finger in the middle of the phone’s back and pressing the power button to see notifications.

So the new location was genuinely irritating. I’d have to use an unenrolled finger to touch the power button to check the time every time I wanted to see my lock screen.

Has an attractive design.

The OnePlus Nord N200 5G features a 6.49-inch FHD+ IPS screen with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 90Hz refresh rate (2400 x 1080 pixels, 406ppi). It’s based on the N10 5G and offers the same rich colors, great contrast, good viewing angles, and sufficient brightness in direct sunshine

A beautiful matte blue gradient runs down the back, with a similar shining blue gradient running down the sides and a metallic blue camera bump.

This hue is known as Blue Quantum by OnePlus, and it looks fantastic. The N200 5G is almost identical in size and weight to the N10 5G, measuring 163.1 x 74.9 x 8.3mm and weighing 189g.

It feels considerably better in the hand thanks to a flatter back panel and a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor.

Display.

The N200 5G shares many similarities with the N100. It weighs 6.6 ounces and measures 6.4 by 2.9 by 0.3 inches (HWD). It’s a smidgeon thinner, but you hard-press to tell the difference. Despite its large size.

It’s thin and light enough to hold in one hand for long periods of time. The backplate and chassis are both constructed of plastic with a semi-gloss appearance that gathers fingerprints rapidly.

The rear panel fits the rectangular camera stock in the upper left corner, which is slightly larger and more erratic than the one on the N100.

Cameras.

Cameras give the best photos.

At least in terms of specifications, the OnePlus Nord N200 5G reflects its cheaper price tag in imaging. It’s a cross between last year’s OnePlus Nord N100 and the $300 OnePlus Nord N10 5G, combining the former’s back triple camera array with the latter’s 16MP f/2.1 selfie camera.

The top edge of the N200 5G is unadorned, while the bottom panel houses the headphone jack, USB-C charging port, and speaker grille.

The volume rocker and SIM/microSD slot are located on the left side. The phone’s power button has an embedded fingerprint sensor on the right side. The fingerprint sensor is quick, responsive, and easy to reach even with little hands

Performance and use.

The Snapdragon 480, Qualcomm’s most cheap 5G SoC, is used in the OnePlus Nord N200 5G. However, don’t be fooled by the 400-series name.

Thanks to an 8nm technology this chip performs similarly to a mid-level 600-series processor while also being more energy-efficient. It’s pair with only 4GB of RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.1 storage in this configuration.

Battery life.

The battery life is incredible (2 days). While the N10 5G is already a powerhouse, the N200 5G takes things to the next level.

The N200 5G offers sub-6GHz 5G, CAT 15 LTE, WiFi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 5.1 (LE), NFC for Google Pay, dual-band A-GPS / GLONASS / Galileo, and the standard array of sensors, among other features. Face unlock and the side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor is both speedy and reliable.

Related Question

Is the OnePlus 7 compatible with 5G? The Snapdragon 855 chipset is found in the Oneplus 7 and Oneplus 7 Pro, although only the higher-end version of the pro model supports 5G, while the regular Oneplus 7 does not. The newer Oneplus 8 and 8 Pro, which include a Snapdragon 865 processor, are 5G ready.

How good is the camera on the OnePlus 7? Like the Samsung Galaxy S10e, it’s a little unfortunate that OnePlus didn’t include at least one of the 7 Pro’s secondary cameras, either the telephoto or ultra-wide lens option. As a result, the OnePlus 7 now provides a fantastic all-around photographic experience.
